The day I found out that I was pregnant, I decided that I would give my sweet little baby everything he or she needed to feel safe, warm, and loved.

So I went out in search of the perfect crib, the perfect little toy box, the perfect rocking chair. I wanted my baby to feel comfortable, and I also wanted the room to be beautiful. My goal was to create a room that was sweet and fun, but at the same time, modern and sophisticated. Since I didn’t know if I was having a boy or a girl, I had to come up with a colour palette that was flexible. I definitely needed some inspiration, so I set out in search of the perfect crib bedding. This was the part I was really excited about….I mean, what could be more important than the bedding itself? After all, this is what will make my baby feel cozy and secure in his or her new surroundings.

It turned out to be difficult to find what I was looking for: a stylish, design-driven bedding set that would snuggle my little one – boy or girl!

I ended up designing and making crib bedding before my son, Mikhail, arrived. I guess you could say that he was my first customer! (I have since had a little girl, who has also been a repeat customer.)

Getting your baby’s room ready, is more than just paint and stuffed animals. It’s about security and warmth and love. And I hope that wherever you find your source of inspiration, your little one’s room makes him or her smile.
